Back to School Transformation inc. is on a mission to provide conducive learning environment for kids in rural African schools
We aim to successfully transform rural schools in Africa by providing adequate school supplies, equipment, and facilities to many schools (primary and secondary).
Back to School Events
In December, 2018, the founder - Cheryl Ibezim had the privilege to visit her village of Avutu, Obowo located in Imo State, Nigeria. During her visit, she was able to organize a back to school event during which she distributed many school supplies such as backpacks, story books, writing materials etc to over 200 school kids in the village.
This is the maiden edition of this program. As part of her mission, this event will take place every end of the year in different village across Africa as a way of equipping the children for a new academic year. Often times, due to the level of poverty in their families, parents are not able to provide them with adequate school supplies needed for effective learning.
Renovation of Dilapidated School Buildings
In line with our mission of transforming rural schools inside and out, we have embarked on a project of reconstruction and renovation school buildings and classrooms. Most of the schools seem to have been abandoned by the authorities due to corruption and bad leadership. We have decided to help for the sake of the schools kids who are the leaders of tomorrow. With a total budget of $10,000 per schools, we will be able to reconstruct the structures, install ceilings, electrical works, painting, door and window replacement as well as tiling to the floors. In addition, we will also provide furniture for both teachers and pupils. We want to reach as many schools as possible.
With our collective efforts, we can create a better and conducive learning environment for children.
